I’m running a tad late for this readathon, but better late than never!
I am spoilt for choice with books, and have a huge selection of ebooks and paper books to choose from.
1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
Sunderland, UK. From the comfort of my fiance’s house.
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
I am really enjoying A Tale for Time Being by Ruth Ozeki, so finishing that will be fun. I’m also looking forward to reading my David Levithan books. Oh, and the new Bridget Jones book 🙂
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
I have some mead to drink. Yes, alcohol is good for a readathon! Also I will be having some pasta later on, but not sure of the snacks.. I will leave them up to my beloved fiance to sort out. He is playing the new Pokemon game though so I’ll probably not have any!
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I’m 24, female and have a lot of books to read. I love football (Sunderland AFC) and I work as a teaching assistant. I am on a mission at the moment to not only read 120 books by the end of the year, but also to read this year’s Man Booker Prize longlist and tick off a few more books from the BBC Big Read Top 100 books.
I will most likely fall asleep at some point. I love YA fiction and like to try new things.
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
I will sleep, since last time I didn’t and I felt awful afterwards. Apart from the fact I raised money for charity. That felt pretty good. I have a nice selection of books, so some long, some short, some fiction, some non-fiction and i am going to read some manga too to have a break from blocks of text.

Comment: I ended up sleeping a great chunk of this hour. There is something deeply relaxing about reading a book in bed. I should probably move out of bed when reading- but it is absolutely freezing cold outside of bed.

I love your stack of reading choices. Looks like you’ll have a great readathon. Enjoy!.
I know what you mean about Kindle–I love mine, but it would be nice to have page numbers! Hope you’re having a great read-a-thon so far. Go #TeamTiger!
Love that towering stack of books – it’s good to have lots of choices! Hope you read lots and figure out your snacks later on 🙂
