Well, the short answer is, I am RachelCabbit.

The long answer is that I am a writer, teacher, newbie-ish blogger, vlogger and website-owner, an avid reader, fangirl and anime lover, who loves and studies many languages, enjoys watching football (soccer) and cannot get enough of all things bookish and literary.

I started going by the alias RachelCabbit a few years ago, but previously I was known online as cabbit-chan. What is a cabbit? Well, it is obviously half-cat, half-rabbit and they are the cutest animals ever, so I loved the name. Also, I stole borrowed it from Tenchi Muyo! one of my favourite anime series, because that is what they seem to call Ryo-Ohki. Also, if you didn’t guess, my real name is Rachel.

I have been writing fanfiction for a while now and used my LiveJournal for a few years reviewing books. I really need to get back into that sort of thing.

I dubbed my website ‘Cabbit Corner’ originally as I felt it was my own little corner of the interwebs and the first time I felt serious enough about making a proper space for myself online that I put money into it.
I changed the name of the site after a few years as I felt it was developing into more of a bookish blog and I wanted something more mature which represented the content better. I then rebranded again as I wanted a more flexible space to suit my changing obsessions.

This website is also an attempt of mine to spur myself into creativity and activity as I tend to procrastinate far too much for my own good.

I will update as often as I can, offering as much as I can and attempt to become a totes legit blogger/reviewer/internet presence.
